initiatives
ordinances

working less
divorcing ones car
bicycling more
political actions
transitioning from one paradigm to another
landfill curtailments
business recycling efforts
recycling businesses
using used computers (for art, business, etc.)
co-housing efforts (cut-rate cohousing)
stopping sprawl (besides the SOAR initiative)
alternatives to oridnary development
bio-dynamic and organic grape ag
.....
please add to the list....
