This book looks so good, I immediately ordered two for a total of $25.56, at the pre-order price, one for me and one for a gift. Amazon gives free shipping for a $25 order, so I thought, what a bargain!  Plus 25% goes for environmental causes.

The excerpts are so enticing. Can't wait to read the entire book. Congratulations to our local contributors Larry Santoyo and Linda Buzzell!

I'm really excited that my essay "Coping with the New Realities," about the psychology of coping with escalating eco-challenges, is included in a new anthology now available at amazon, Hope Beneath Our Feet: Restoring Our Place in the Natural World  www.hopebeneathourfeet.com, edited by Martin Keogh. The anthology also includes inspiring essays by people like Paul Hawken, Bill McKibben, permaculture co-founder Bill Mollison, Michael Pollan, Barbara Kingsolver, Alice Walker, Vicki Robin, my permaculture teacher Larry Santoyo, Frances Moore Lappe, Byron Katie, Nina Simons, Howard Zinn and Wendell Berry.

Hi Linda and others.....

thanks for posting this... This looks like an awesome book. We got permission earlier on to reprint Byron Katie's article (from the book) at our site. Her article blew me away! Please see: http://hopedance.org/home/soul-news/1686

For some reason the link to the book didnt work but it eventually goes to http://www.martinkeogh.com/ and Martin, the editor, suggests going to amazon to order the book: http://tinyurl.com/22r8v9v

Also, at the amazon site it shows many of the articles linked to the site so it appears one can read almost the entire book online. Im not sure if thats a glitch or what. Linda's article appears to be linked but when I went to it, it went awry. However I just rechecked it and Linda's article is at the amazon site. Go figure. Of course its always wonderful to have the book to hold and behold.

Have fun browsing. Also, if you are into Facebook, they have a page up there to continue the conversations: http://www.facebook.com/hopebeneathourfeet?ref=ts
