Rainwater and Runoff Harvesting Lecture

Led by Art Ludwig of Oasis Design, this lecture will focus on the benefits of infiltrating rainwater into the ground via mulch basins and swales instead of letting it run off. All are welcome, no RSVPs necessary!

 

When:                  Tuesday, Nov. 18th, 6:00-7:30 pm

Hands-on Workshop for Professionals

Installers will learn practices they can implement now, including directing catchment from rooftops to bioswales and raingardens and working with large impermeable runoff collection surfaces to small bioswales. Wear work clothes, bring gloves and shovels. Workshop is limited to 12 participants so register soon! Attendance at Tuesday lecture is mandatory to participate in the workshop.

 

When:                  Friday, Nov. 21st 8:30am – 3:30pm

Where:                 Residence in the City of Santa Barbara. Exact address will be given with registration.

Who:                     Geared toward professionals and installers (others will be placed on a waitlist)
