What is Permaculture?

Permaculture is a holistic approach to land use design, based on ecological principles and patterns. It aims to create stable, productive systems that provide for human needs, harmoniously integrating the land with people. Permaculture principles can be applied to any environment, at any scale - from dense urban settlements to individual homes, from farms to entire regions.

Quail Springs' seeking part-time Fundraiser Extraordinaire

We're on the lookout for an experienced fundraiser to develop new and ongoing relationships with foundations and individual donors to support the development of infrastructure necessary for Quail Springs' to move toward self-sustenance as a permaculture farm and educational site. Passion for our mission is a must. Grantwriting, proposal development, and reporting skills are necessary. Relationship with and understanding of the Santa Barbara area non-profit, business, or philanthropic community is a plus. We would co-create the position with the right person.
