We will be holding a meeting Saturday, June 23, 10:30 AM, at Sunland Park on Foothill Blvd and Sherman Grove, Sunland, to let people know more about what we are doing to create local community self-sufficiency.   We are supporting/participating in a number of projects, including South Central food forestry, a project on Pine Ridge reservation, various educational activities, some planned projects in a couple of African and South American countries, and a couple of local communities planned - one near LA, one in a more remote location.

Our community model is based on the practice of addressing virtually every sector of life and asking the question, is this really the best way to do things?  Does this enhance the long term survival potential of all of the living entities involved in the maximum possible way?  (In almost every case, no, not even close)   How could this area be improved, and perhaps more importantly, what is the relationship between these sectors, and how can that be enhanced to maximize potential across all life dynamics?

If you want to find out more about feeding your family from your yard, how your lifestyle can realistically and affordably become much more sustainable and also of higher quality, whether you might want to become more involved in any of our projects, or if you just want to find out more about what we're up to, this is the meeting to attend.

Bring a chair and if you like, a snack to share.  For more info, email me.
