Our ranch in Malibu is growing exponentially, and we're looking for a full-time gardener to establish and maintain abundant gardens to accommodate our growth. We farm according to biodynamic methods and would like someone who is familiar with -- or willing to learn about -- the complexities of all things biodynamic.
We prepare our own compost on the land, according to biodynamic standards; preparing and maintaining the compost is also part of the position.
We're currently in negotiations to collaborate with two local restaurants, one of which is a two-Michelin stars and receives consistent publicity; the other, internationally known and high-end. In addition, we are preparing to attend local Farmers' Markets and sell produce.
The position requires a passion for clean, healthy food; a desire to learn about, or bring an already established clarity of, biodynamic principles; understanding of growing for business purposes (garden that produces consistently); and flexibility to learn with us as we grow.
