This Wednesday morning, join the Los Angeles Food Policy Council, our partners, and government leaders at City Hall to celebrate Food Day Los Angeles.

Your presence makes an impact! We invite you to meet us at the LA City Hall Rotunda on Wednesday at 8:30AM and support efforts underway to bring locally grown, sustainable and fair food to communities in need.

Join the Los Angeles Food Policy Council, city leaders, community leaders and partners for the 3rd annual National Food Day to bring awareness to the Good Food for All Agenda, where food is sustainable, local, fair, humane and healthy for all Angelenos!

EVENT: Food Day Los Angeles
DATE: Wednesday, October 23, 2013
TIME: 8:30 am – 11:00 am
LOCATION: Los Angeles City Hall, Rotunda, 3rd Floor
200 N. Spring Street
Los Angeles, CA 90012
PARKING: Commercial parking lots are located off of Main Street south of 2nd Street.
BUILDING ACCESS: Please check in on the 1st floor at the Main Street entrance of City Hall.
The building is wheelchair accessible.
MEET AT: Activities will take place in City Hall at the 3rd floor Rotunda beginning at 8:30 am. Shortly there after we will proceed to City Council Chambers.
SUGGESTED DRESS CODE: Wear green to show your support!

-- Hearing on Council Motion 13-0478 to promote Edible Parkway Gardening and Surplus Public Property for Community Gardens
-- Resolution to declare City Council support of urban agriculture and its commitment to ensuring a strong and sustainable local food system and declare October 23, 2013 as National Food Day in the City of Los Angeles
-- Recognition of institutions participating in the Good Food Purchasing program
