Master Garden Volunteer Training Program

Do you know someone who owns land they aren't using?

We're piling up compost, mulch, and other gardening materials for transformational planting efforts across the city, and we can't keep it in our yards forever!
This will mean a lot to a lot of people. Everything would be well maintained and kept neatly; we just need some unused space to get ourselves started.

Even if you know of an empty lot that has likely been forgotten about, we are willing to take the risk for a good cause.

WE ALSO NEED

Urgent: HAY and Straw, or a ride to go pick up said Items from inland

Urgent: Lots of newspaper, Cardboard

Tools, Gloves

Worms

Compost & Rich Soil

Rain Barrels

What are we doing?

We are giving away lots of food and flower plants to people + the information and inspiration needed to foster lasting interest in growing.

We are making the most of SoCal's abundant resources, planting useful things everywhere, in places where people feel useless.

We are getting Los Angeles Growing.

Free Nursery is a flash alchemal initiative to give away lots of plants and transform dreary city landscapes all over Los Angeles.

The Free Nursery puts into action, what remains a thought in most of our minds: there is a lot of land around that can be put to good use and maximized potential. People do not have to go without, there are resources all around us. Most people hold this concept in their mind. We are ready to make it reality.

Free nursery will employ advanced planting techniques in neighborhoods that need it most to bring about beautified, improved environments and fresh organic food, exciting communities about food with youthful, innovative outreach!

If you can help us with land, reach out to freenursery@thegoyslife.com or call/text 424.235.4697

If you'd like to help bring this to life with a donation, or contribute to our efforts in some other way, you can visit our support page. (Excuse our construction)

We appreciate you reading this and combing your mind to see what connections you can make. The fruits of your offerings will go to beautifully excellent use! We know all of you will cross your fingers for us!

Plenty of Peace & Lots of Love to All of You!

You may rest assured a new day of light has dawned on Earth! Keep Building!
