Please join Kiss the Ground for a hands on biodynamic compost workshop.  Farmer Jack who has over thirty years of experience and will be teaching us to create a large biodynamic compost pile.  He will discuss biodynamic farming, composting, and the importance of soil health.  The workshop is completely hands on.  

 


Biodynamics is a spiritual-ethical-ecological approach to agriculture, food production and nutrition developed by Dr. Rudolf Steiner in the early 1920s. 

Kiss the Ground is a nonprofit working in Venice to publicize the link between soil health and human health.  The site (681 N Venice Blvd in front of the Venice Fire Station) will be transformed into a community gathering space, demonstration garden, and food forest.  

Workshop starts at 10am but feel free to come for an hour or stay all day.  Donations welcomed.
