A Weekend Journey with Jon Young and the Regenerative Design Institute.

It will also launch Jon's 2005-2006 workshop series by introducing the peacemaker principles, the foundation of Jon's upcoming workshops.

What does the architecture of Democracy have to teach us about the nature of true freedom and real homeland security? As our world progresses towards more and more conflict, what elements can be gleaned from the purer and more grass-roots Democracies that have stood the test of time; and, How can we applies these today with our family, friends, work-places and communities?

September 2005 - April 2006: Integral Awareness Training Program
with Jon Young
Tracking, Bird Language & Nature Awareness
9 Saturdays & 7 Sundays from 8am - 4pm
Join Jon Young and the trackers from the Shikari Tracking Guild for a deep exploration of nature through the lenses of tracking, nature awareness and bird language. Participants will explore many aspects of tracking’s powerful and rich traditions in native skills of awareness, wildlife science, ecology, inner awareness and cultural mentoring. Teachings will be related back to the ancient understanding of caring for the natural environment.

Regenerative Design & Nature Awareness (RDNA) Training Program
Yes! Our Regenerative Design program has expanded to include training with Jon Young in Nature Awareness and is now called the RDNA Program!
We can still accept registrations for our September ’05 term and we are ready for your applications now for the January ’06 term of this advanced year-long hands-on training. The course is devoted to helping students develop skills necessary to further sustainable & regenerative practices in their personal and professional lives. Students meet 2 full days per week; the full course lasts one year (3 trimesters).

Starting January ‘06: Four Seasons Permaculture Design Course
Instructors: Penny Livingston and special guests.
Commonweal Garden, Bolinas, CA
This permaculture certificate course kicks off with an intensive weekend on January 28/29 and then meets one Saturday per month for one year! The curriculum and the hands-on activities will be integrated into the seasons and provide participants the experiences of winter pruning, spring planting, summer and fall harvesting, food preservation and other activities that relate to the seasons.
