THE CURRICULUM
The A to Z of Sustainability!  A more fun or informative course would be hard to find. Our text book, Permaculture: A Designer's Manual, by Bill Mollison, was once reviewed by Whole Earth saying "If information had density... this book would be a black hole!.."

This course includes new, updated and expanded material: Eco-Literacy, Biomimicry, Peak Oil, The Home-Ecosystem, Natural Building Techniques, Backyard Food-Forests, Fossil-less Fuels, Alternative Energy, Industrial Ecology, Patterns of Human Dynamics & Community, Practicing Democracy, MicroVillage Networks, EcoUrbanism and more...

The Design Course curriculum focus is mainly lecture and the all important theory behind the practice of Permaculture Design -with an emphasis on Design.  Students will be responsible for a final student Design Presentation.  Additional seminars will be available for students interested in hands-on training; Design Exercises, Observation Skills, Natural Building, Sustainable Landscape Construction, Art in the Garden & More...

CERTIFICATION:
Requirements include: Full Attendance, Design Team Exercises and Final Presentation, Participation in the Talent Show and all Payment Agreements met in full...

Upon successful completion of the course you must request and respond to the student questionnaire -Additional Certificate Fee of $25.00 will be required.

TUITION COSTS
* $90.00 per day
* $175.00 per weekend
* $950.00 for all six weekends

Materials and other fees may apply.
Meals, Lodging & Transportation not included.
Note: $200 non-refundable deposit required.
