Permaculture Approaches to Water Harvesting

with Kate Tirion: Permaculture expert, Drylands Consultant
and Sean Nash, Natural Building and Greywater Consultant

May 30 & 31, 2009     Time: 10AM to 4PM
LOCATION: 2842 Country Club Drive, Harmony Grove-Elfin Forest Area, North County, San Diego
Sky Mountain Institute in partnership with The Escondido Creek Conservancy invites you to a Permaculture Workshop on water conservation. Receiving less than 10 inches of rainfall per year, the San Diego area is a desert landscape. However, in one inch of rainfall 27,000 gallons of rain will fall on one acre of land. This workshop will show you how to harness this free resource by designing and implementing sustainable water-harvesting systems for your home, landscape, and community.
