Hello my friends,

Spring is here and it is time for us to take any left over stored winter energy into action and grow in the light of spring and warmer weather.  I am sure that all of you who attended the amazing Zaca Lake Retreat this weekend are ready to get your hands (and feet) dirty building with the earth.  I am sure anyone who wasn't there is just as eager and ready to play.

THis spring and into summer I am putting together a few Natural Building workshops.

One will be on the SBCC cob bench and one on the Meditation SHed I have been building on the Mesa where I have been living the last few years.

I hope we can get some great enthusiasm and involvement from our growing SB community towards a more thrivable (sustainable) way of living.  THe date and time for the plaster party on the Mesa is still tentative, but if you can make it to the SBCC bench plaster here is the details.

SBCC COB BENCH PLASTER PARTY:  All welcome!

Location:

-SBCC Environmental Horticulture "Lifescape Garden"

-Bluff of East Campus overlooking the harbor, above La Playa Stadium

Date and Schedule:

-Next Sunday May 7th, 2006

-1:30 pm-   Lecture/discussion on Cob, Natural BUilding, and Natural Plasters.

-2:00 pm and into afternoon-   Finish earthen plaster on cob bench.

THis event is FREE, however a donations of $20 or more would help support the teacher (myself), my family, and more events like this in the future.

Hope to see you all there!  THanks a bunch.

Peace, LIght, and LOve,
Leif Skogberg
