The Cob Workshop participants and teachers, and Quail Spring caretakers would like to invite you to our
OPEN HOUSE on Monday, May 29th…
this will be close to the finale of 10 amazing days of natural building and community building here at Quail Springs (www.quailsprings.org).
(2 hr drive from Santa Barbara or San Luis Obispo, 1 hr from Ojai, 2-3 hrs from Los Angeles)
Come see and experience a caretaker’s cottage made with earth, sand, and straw with a natural building philosophy –
utilizing passive solar design and permaculture concepts in action around the site.
Ask questions of the participants from around the state and country and teachers,
Betty Seaman and Jack Stephens from Cob Cottage Company.
Enjoy a beautiful slide show, and celebrate with great people and great food!
Bring a potluck item for a midday meal (1pm-4pm) if you would like to visit just for the day…
and for an evening meal if you would like to stay Monday night or arrive Sunday evening, which you are welcome to do.
Bring musical instruments, your own dreams of building a home with your hands, stories and questions to share.
