Hey everyone,

 

We're planting up a front-yard food forest at my house (and soon others). Can anyone recommend some GOOD low chill varieties of fruits for coastal southern California? We're in Ventura.

 

Specifically, I thought of this question about apples, but  if you have any recommendations about any tree or shrub to hunt down please send them my way.

 

Really this would be a great opportunity to compile a list for the tastiest, highest yielding, resilient varieties of plants that are most suitable to this region.
