Transition Town Santa Barbara has decided to focus our intentions and actions on relocalizing, transforming and transitioning 9 critical sectors of local society .  I'm already getting excited just looking at this list (below) and thinking of both the excellent work already being done in some sectors by folks in our community plus the possibilities for moving forward towards sustainability in others.

Some of these sectors really call out to me: culture, local history, spirit/soul, (mental) health...  Yes!

Which sector(s) call out to you?  We're going to need enthusiastic folks to be part of the 9 teams that will address each sector and then inform the whole group of their discoveries, recommendations and actions. If there are sector(s) that you are passionate about, please e-mail me back and we'll start creating lists of people who share this interest.

Welcome to one of the most exciting work/play opportunities of our time -- helping our communities transition towards true sustainability!

Yours in transition,
