My son had this to say about the email and link I forwarded:
"Its unfortunate that this idea is bullshit as it violates the second law of thermodynamics:
Which states that the entropy of the universe always increases, or (equivalently) that perpetual motion machines are impossible.
Please don't give these crooks any money, scammers are even more active now during the economic downturn.
believe me lots of people have tried to disprove the 2nd law, there's a lot of money there!  I hope nobody builds one and wastes their time.
It sure would be cool though!"
