Dear Ojai Locals,

I did a little internet research to find the emails of local folks involved in fields of sustainability, education, leadership, nature, restoration, wellness and the like.  That is why you are receiving this email.  If you would prefer me to not include you in such an email please let me know.

The below described program is one I have found great value in and believe it has the ability to complement the many roles of people in the Ojai Valley working to improve the state of the environment, the lives of people and the connection between the two.  The model of this leadership program is through the lens of the combined areas of permaculture, sustainability and nature-connection.

This program will take place at Mano Farm in Meiners Oaks, where camping will be provided.  Attached is a picture of the "venue" and a flier.

Please pass this on to your comrads, co-workers and any others you think may have interest.  Feel free to email me with questions.

There is a discount to folks who work for a non-profit.

In Gratitude,
Jessica Sieber

The Ecology of Leadership Program is coming to Ojai, CA

When:  March 2011 - June 2011
Early Bird Registration Deadline:  Feb 18th, 2011

www.theEcologyofLeadership.org

Since initial launch in 2006, Ecology of Leadership (EOL) programs have served hundreds of non-profit leaders, community activists, eco-social entrepreneurs, and other conscious change-makers, in deepening their paths of service by manifesting their gifts, visions, and passions in their lives, their organizations, their communities, and the world.

Using experiential, nature- and community-based leadership development, the Ecology of Leadership program blends inquiry and skill development, self-awareness, and deepened nature connection with principles of systems thinking and permaculture. With the support of a powerful and dynamic circle of leaders, you will explore leadership from the inside out, examining what holds you back, then envision and step into the possibilities you hold for your life, and your service path.

I found the strength, clarity, and confidence within myself to powerfully step into my role as Executive Director and hold a space for our organization to re-envision itself.  Every aspect of my life has been positively impacted by my willingness to authentically walk my path, fully self-expressed.”   Donna Helete, Executive Director, Outside Now
