For the last decade it has been an international healing center and as
of January 2012 Gaian Mind Institute has partnered with the ranch to help establish a food forest and permaculture research laboratory/demonstration site.
An unconference is a self-organizing event that allows the attendees to
dynamically and organically create presentation/workshop topics and
convene sessions at one of many session areas at a site.
