Hello Margie,
I am teaching a PDC at the Permaculture Research Institute of Australia and will ask if they have any extra PC books/videos that they would donate.  I can then bring them in my luggage home to Santa Barbara later this month.  Let's stay in touch...

In peace and abundance,

Warren

"Vocation does not come from willfulness.  It comes from listening.  I must listen to my life and try to understand what it is truly about-quite apart from what I would like it to be about-or my life will never represent anything real in the world, no matter how earnest my intentions.  That insight is hidden in the word vocation itself, which is rooted in the Latin for "voice."  Vocation does not mean a goal that I pursue.  It means a calling that I hear.  Before I can tell my life what I want to do with it, I must listen to my life telling me who I am.  I must listen for the truths and values at the heart of my identity, not the standards by which I must live-but the standards by which I cannot help but live if I am living my own life."

Hi Everyone

We have a friend who is starting a library for two Juvenile Detention Center locations.

He needs some books, and I always remember Bill Mollison talking about those who read his Permaculture Design Manual while incarcerated, said what a huge difference it made in their lives. they had lots of time to read!  some read the Design two or three times...

I thought it would be great to donate permaculture books to his cause.  I'm moving, so am cleaning out some of mine to give, thought others might like to pitch in too...

I'm doing a garage sale tomorrow (Sat/July 14, 9-2pm), if you have some permaculture books you'd like to donate for the library, this would be a perfect time to get them to me.  (won't be accepting any for awhile after that, as I'm moving)
