Worm Composting & Compost Tea Making Workshop

Worm composts are used primarily for food wastes, are easy, fun, require no turning, & produce the best organic fertilizer!

 302 East Cota St. Santa Barbara, CA 93101  (at Garden & Cota Streets)  Arrive  early to shop, the store closes at 3PM.

Tahara Ezrahti, Explore Ecology’s Education Director, & Oscar Carmona, Sustainable Gardening Expert and owner of Healing Grounds Nursery, will show you how to set up and maintain a worm composting system and make and use compost tea.  Cost: $5 at the door. 

 

Complete worm composting kits will be for sale.  ($55 for a 20 gal. Kit, $70 for a 33 gal. Kit.)  Kits include:  a bin, worms, bedding, and a Garden Detectives Book.  You may also purchase worms separately for $20 gallon and Garden Detectives Books for $5 each.
