Judy Sims, former teacher at Monte Vista school, facilitated getting a food forest installed in 2005 at Monte Vista with Common Visions & our local permaculture groups, has a request (see below).

Common Visions is back for a 10 year anniversary visit, and to take a look at what those trees look like now, and do some remedial work. .  They are such a great group, have installed fruit trees at hundreds of schools!  http://www.commonvision.org/
Message from Judy Sims:
TOMORROW MORNING (Fri, Feb 19) Common Vision is coming to Monte Vista to care for the orchard. A Monte Vista grandparent/garden volunteer donated the $300, and she and another former MV parent are overseeing the work. They need to find someone with a chainsaw to clear out dead wood on the Monte Vista Nature Plant Nature Trail--know anyone we might ask?
