PERMACULTURE MEETING

Santa Barbara
Special Guest and new member Bruce Bebe Architect Permaculture Teacher for
17 years will give a short presentation and slide show on Ecovillage
Planning and Design based on PC bio regional and ecological principles.
Bruce has spent the last few years travelling looking at ecovillages and
communities throughout the world and will share with us. Anyone who has
slides and pictures of the Village Home Trip to Davis to share,  also news
or projects to share feel welcome.

This will be a workshop focusing on the impact of hooved animals {cows etc
non domestic animals} on the landscape come start to learn how to observe
their impact and benefits to dry landscapes. Important knowledge to know
when looking at the landscape here in SB. and elsewhere.

"Sense of Place" A Weekend Teaching by Earth Skills in the Santa Barbara
Mountains for South Coast Permaculture Guild. Sat April 17 and Sunday April
18 cost is $150 Camping with Dinner and Breakfasts included. This a weekend
course which is meant to help you develop tools for reading the natural
rhythms of the land. This will open your self to the patterns of nature
{spiritual and physical}at many levels . Get in touch so you can work with
harmony with nature using the Permaculture Principles on the land. 
Jim Lowery and Mary Brooks of Earth Skills have taught tracking, nature
awareness and earth philosophy for the past twelve years. Many skills in
this workshop were learned from Tom Brown Jr. This will be a hands on, this
not a workshop of abstractions, but a workshop introducing very specific
skills.
