Building a Rural Off-the-Grid
Ecological Base Camp June 22-28

An advanced permaculture workshop where you will learn to
Install a water tank and solar pump, Selectively harvest Douglas Fir trees
in a way that enhances the forest and build simple structures, Build a camp
kitchen,
Install solar showers, Create a Biological treatment system for sewage &
grey water.
It is recommended that participants have taken an Introduction to
Permaculture Course or the Permaculture Design Course. Fee: $350.00

This course is meant to help you see how to live lightly on the land before 
you make any permanent plans where to locate housing etc. this will allow 
you to observe the natural patterns on your land over a protracted period 
of time and seasons while be able to live on the land lightly.
	Tom Watson is the originator of the Watson Wick an amazing biological 
waste system which makes of a living system of  human waste and greywater 
which uses a bed of pumice in which fruit trees and vegetation are planted 
over replacing the septic tank system. The system is site specific so it 
does not translate out to all altitude and climate zones.
