"...In about two weeks, I will be gleefully unemployed for the summer, 
and plan to to do some WWOOFing and volunteer for some permaculture 
farms in central california.  I may be passing through your (Santa 
Barbara) area in June... do you know of any opportunities their might 
be to help on a project or just see some dang cool human innovation in 
sustainable living?
