from hiking in the Poudre Canyon (which has the lovely Poudre River),  
2 hours from Winterpark ski resort
“Old Town” area of the city. House is 8 blocks from College Avenue,  
the main street of Old Town, lots of charm. One block from Mountain  
Avenue, the heart of classic renovations happening here.
Fort Collins is home to several microbreweries (O’Dells, New  
Belgium...), a community currency system, excellent farmers markets  
in the summer, several CSAs, and local lamb, beef, and pork  
producers. It also has a great local food coop and a new Whole Foods  
market. There is a lively brew-pub scene, excellent music venues, a  
performing arts center, and a strong sustainable agriculture  
community at the local university, Colorado State University. Fort  
Collins is home to the annual Rocky Mountain Sustainable Living Fair
