The Natural Building Network of Ventura County announces a Hands-on 
Workshop, "Build Your Own Earthen Oven."
Learn to Build a Wood-Fired Earthen Oven for Bread, Pizza and More.

ARTBARN, 856 East Thompson Blvd., Ventura, CA (between Ash and 
Kalorama in downtown Ventura )


Earth ovens are a great introduction for people of all ages to build 
with earth, using age-old techniques and simple materials such as 
clay, sand, staw and bricks.  In this 2 part workshop, teachers and 
participants will work together to build an earthen oven.  Limited 
space, call to reserve a space. Families are welcome!
The natural building and sustainability movement focuses on reducing 
the amount of toxic chemicals, non-renewable building materials, 
greenhouse gas-causing concfrete, clearcut forests, impoverished air 
and watersheds, and overflowing landfills.
