First Meeting/Workshop of the Santa Barbara Seed Saving Guild
Saturday, November 10 3-5 at the Foodbank Warehouse 4554 Hollister 
Avenue Goleta


This is a free event open to the public. Interested in local food 
security? Access to quality seed stock is at the core of this important 
emerging issue. Growing and maintaining quality localized seed stock, 
sharing info and offering training will be the goal of  this new group 
being formed through the Foodbank.

Pacifica's Urban Farm, Mesa Harmony Garden and Fairview Gardens will be 
joining forces to provide space to grow quality seed. These sites will 
also provide valuable hand-on learning opportunities for anyone 
interested in learning how to save seeds successfully. Guild members 
will also be encouraged to grow out seedlings for the Foodbanks' Grow 
Your Own Way program.

This is really exciting stuff!! If you feel the same come on over the
