Dear Friends,

Save the dates for the the 2013 Northern California Permaculture & Transition Convergence: Building Resilient Communities, being held October 11-13, 2013 at the Solar Living Institute in Hopland, CA. (2 hours north of San Francisco).

This Convergence is joining together the efforts of these two movements into one powerful gathering that will educate and inspire people from all walks all life to build community resilience through grassroots community organizing efforts.

We are estimating around 300 - 500 permaculture designers, transition initiative organizers, community and social justice activists, and ordinary people inspired to make a difference in their communities will gather to strengthen and broaden our movements.

We have presently confirmed Rob Hopkins - founder of the transition movement, as as one of the main keynote speakers, and are intending for there to be a variety of speakers, workshops, skill shares, educational deisplays, and collaborative discussions… while creating a more personable, networking atmosphere to interweave and connect as a community.

The organizing team for the event is taking applications of offering workshops, skill share, or educational demos at the event.

It is a great opportunity for exposure for your work, as well as to network with other professionals doing this good work.

If you are interested in offering a workshop, please respond by Aug 20. We request that you fill out the workshop application form here:
