Hello Permaculture Guild,

Reminders: Pancake Breakfast Oct. 7th and Cob Workshops Nov. 3rd & 4th  and Nov. 10th & 11th

The SLO Permaculture Guild is part of the SLO Guild Hall – we sometimes jokingly call it a “guild of guilds.”

It is a “win-win-win” for you to come to the Pancake Breakfast this Sunday, October 7th at the SLO Guild Hall.

WIN #1 - Part of the proceeds will go towards the cob workshops coming to San Luis Obispo City Farm in November. This earth structure will be an educational component for students coming on field trips as well as for the public to come learn how build natural buildings with local clay soil, sand and straw.

Win #2 – Part of the proceeds also help the SLO Guild Hall with sustainable building renovations.

Win #3 – You get a big Sunday breakfast and at 10am you get treated to a preview of the musical production of the Magic Flute by Opera SLO. Please donate $10 or more to help out more!!!

Now about the cob workshops. We need your support! Please either donate through the GoFundMe or register for the workshops! And please spread the word to others. Please share the Facebook event:

We really do need your help to get this natural building project “off the ground!” We will be using the ground right under our feet at SLO City Farm to build this playhouse for kids to enjoy for years to come.

Also, come to the Fall Harvest Festival on October 21st to support the SLO City Farm project and get your hands in the mud as we will start building the African Mud Hut during the festival.
