this conference 8/19 - 21 is the same weekend as a workshop here in LA

Nonetheless, I hope some LA energy might find the Twin Oaks conference 
in their summer plans.  It is quite an experience to visit there, and 
this annual conference has proved quite popular among those interested 
in intentional communities.
