We're reducing our inventory so have a great plant sale going on currently. If you haven't seen the food forest, it is not the best season as many plants have lost their leaves, but our taste and smell tour is always much fun. We are also have a community work day, if you want to play with the soil and sample some of our greens and heirloom tomatoes (still bearing!).

Sundays, Jan 27, Feb 3,10,17, from 1-4. 7919 Glenties Lane, Sunland, 91040.

Here are a few examples of what we have for sale, this is very fun stuff!

We have several versions of apple trees that will fruit in the LA area. They are great for climbing and so nice to pick your apples fresh!

Some Kei apples, an African fruit similar to an apricot, these grow in low moisture areas and are great hedge trees as they have thorns.

Nice cherimoya trees - this fruit sells for $4 a piece or sometimes more in grocery stores. A favorite of Latin America, it is a delicious dessert fruit.

Kaffir lime - the leaves on these trees make delicious spice to be added to any dish - they are used in Middle Eastern and many other countries for flavor and the limes are also delicious.

We are getting in several Surinam cherry trees because of popular demand. These are the food of the gods, with unbelievable flavor and bouquet, and the fruit is beautiful, grooved cherries that are deep red. They grow well in the Valley.

Loquat, we have many of these, small and large trees, and we also have one beautiful large Strawberry Loquat. These trees fruit fast, give a lot of fruit and they are delicious, sweet, very thirst quenching and lots of vitamins.

Several varieties of nectarine, peach, cherry, orange, lemon.

Tomato tree - the fruit looks like a tomato but tastes different. Used in several South American countries in everything from stews to desserts. Very versatile - big, pretty leaves!

Date and jelly palms will give fruit and look great in the yard

Much more, come and see!
