[Lapg] Carfree day in all of LA coming up April 22!

Hi All,



Councilmember Wesson’s motion for Wilshire Center Earth Day-Car Free Day 
event has been passed by the Los Angeles City Council today!!!  Wilshire 
Blvd. between Western and Harvard is to be closed to traffic on April 
22.  And to quote the motion – “The City of Los Angeles declares this 
day a Car Free Day City Wide to encourage greater-than-normal usage of 
mass transit”.  Thank you Nathan and Rick for all your efforts to date.



The banners are going up, and they look great.



And thanks to all the rest of you – we are going to have a wonderful 
celebration on April 22nd.  Mother Earth will be pleased.
