Dear friends and colleagues:

Just want to share with you a great fund raising resource, the Edible Los Angeles.  http://www.ediblelosangeles.com/content/

My fellow Master Gardener, Shannon Metcalf would like to help non-profit and community based organization to use the Edible LA as tool for fund raising.  Shannon is the associate Publisher for  Edible LA.  The magazine is being sold in Whole Food and other venues for $4.99.  It contains a lot of great info about gardening, nutrition, and sustainable living.  Shannon would like to work with us so that agencies/CBOs can sell these magazines and all the proceeds will go to the agencies/CBOs.  The only thing that she is asking for is a thank-you letter so that she can make a case with the Publisher, and continue this work.

If you are interested for your fund raising event or as part of continuous fund raising efforts, or if you need additional info, please contact Shannon directly.  She can provide you with the quantity that you need, and answer any questions that you may have.

BTW, if you are interested in submitting articles, please visit the website and click on Writer's Guide.
