His name is Masanobu Fukuoka and the book is called The One-Straw Revolution. Great read! Enjoy

Hi Quail Springs and LAPG,
I'm interested in going. I have some questions. Can I get a carpool/ride with someone going there already? I can cover gasoline or the "suggested donation" in return, etc. I live La Mirada, near Fullerton.

Also: what is the name of the "radical, early-permacultural-type" Japanese farmer who wrote a book on his permacultural-style gardening techniques of not turning the soil to remove weeds, etc? I heard his name mentioned by Larry Santoyo in his PCD class, but I looked it up in my notes and I didn't write it down. I would like to read that book. If I could just get the name of the book and author that would be great. Talk to me soon ...
Towards sustainability,
Best,
