Wow!  What a resource - and a great way to encourage young people to love the soil!

Volunteers Offered

Days and Dates You’re Available —Saturday May 15th
Times You’re Available— 1-4 pm
Your General Location – Downtown Los Angeles
How Far Are You Willing to Travel? – 15-20 miles at most 
Help Offered— We have 150 volunteers willing to do whatever service is available at the time on May 15th. Be it vegetable planting, weeding, digging areas, tilling dirt or building fences/planters or any other garden or environmental based service, the Heroes will be up to the task. 
Anticipated Number of Volunteers You’ll Provide–150 middle school aged volunteers
How Many Times Can You Volunteer?– This would be a one day project.

Other information- We have a large very well behaved group of middle school aged volunteers. In the Young Heroes program they are held up to a high standard of behavior and willingness to work and take part in their community and the communities surrounding Los Angeles . We don't call them Heroes for nothing!
