[Lapg] 7/23 Permaculture Meet-up! and SKILLSHARE :)

Ty's offer of bringing some lovely homebrew reminds me how great it is when we
share our super hero skills!  If any of y'all want to share a skill you've
mastered or even just recently become excited about please plan accordingly
(bring enthusiasm and/or handouts, contact info/resources lists, and/or supplies
to show us how to do it).

I sampled some wonderful mead and other diy concoctions up at the Bay area
convergence and am excited to learn how to do some myself!

"There is one, and only one, solution, and we have almost no time to try it. We
must turn all our resources to repairing the natural world, and train all our
young people to help. They want to.
We need to give them this last chance to create forests, soils, clean waters,
clean energies, secure communities, stable regions, and to know how to do it from
hands-on experience"
"...the greatest change we need to make is from consumption to production, even
if on a small scale, in our own gardens. If only 10% of us do this, there is
enough for everyone.
Hence the futility of revolutionaries who have no gardens, who depend on the
very system they attack, and who produce words and bullets, not food and
shelter."

Howdie all,

Joan, thanks so much for setting up the PC get-together. I've added the
gathering to my conscious fore-front and will likely be going.

I'll come armed with the latest herbal homebrew (triple sage-peppermint and also
yarrow-wormwood :)

I'm in Long Beach, if anyone else from the Southbay area would like to share a
ride, let me know.
