Dear Friends of Quail Springs,

We are thrilled to announce a very special benefit event for our growing
Sustainable Vocations program. Van Jones, a supporter of Quail Springs and a
leading voice for the Green Economy, will be presenting an inspiring and
program-related talk entitled Green for All: The Next American Economy. The
event is slated for October 29th at 7:00pm and will take place at the
Marjorie Luke Theater in Santa Barbara.

Van's presence is a true blessing for Sustainable Vocations and the entire
community as he is a globally recognized, award-winning pioneer in human
rights and the clean-energy economy. He is the co-founder of three
successful non-profit organizations: The Ella Baker Center for Human Rights,
Color of Change, and Green For All. Van served as The Green Jobs Advisor
within the Obama White House in 2009 and is also the best-selling author of
the definitive book on green jobs: The Green-Collar Economy. He is
currently a senior fellow at the Center For American Progress, a senior
policy advisor at Green For All, and a distinguished visiting fellow at
Princeton University.

Van Jones timely message will inspire our community to embrace a deeper
definition of sustainability that incorporates social justice and creates
green access for all. In the process, the benefit will directly support
Sustainable Vocations in its complementary mission of developing new leaders
to assume prominent roles within this emerging and vital Green Economy. This
alignment of Vans message with the goals of Sustainable Vocations creates an
ideal partnership and venue to grow our local Green Economy.

In addition to purchasing tickets for Vans presentation, opportunities
exists to further support Sustainable Vocations and the youth it serves:

*Green Circle Reception: This is a very special opportunity to visit with
Van in an intimate setting. It also an occasion to form and deepen your
relationship with Quail Springs and Sustainable Vocations' staff and Board
members. The Green Circle Reception will take place immediately following
