Might be a challenge in this heat and with such hair but if you've ever wanted
an angora rabbit (or 8!) here's an opportunity!
Be aware that adoption with these rabbit rescues often requires a lot of
patience as they practically screen you like you were going to adopt a child.
If you really want one make sure you are aware of what it takes to rightfully
raise house rabbits!
Joan

"There is one, and only one, solution, and we have almost no time to try it. We
must turn all our resources to repairing the natural world, and train all our
young people to help. They want to.
We need to give them this last chance to create forests, soils, clean waters,
clean energies, secure communities, stable regions, and to know how to do it from
hands-on experience"
"...the greatest change we need to make is from consumption to production, even
if on a small scale, in our own gardens. If only 10% of us do this, there is
enough for everyone.
Hence the futility of revolutionaries who have no gardens, who depend on the
very system they attack, and who produce words and bullets, not food and
shelter."

Subject: [SoCalPetRabbits] Angora Bunnies Need Homes

Hi,

I know everyone is up to their gills with buns but there are 8 angora bunnies
that need a home. A breeder in our area has decided to "dump" them because she
wants to concentrate her breeding on German Giants. All of the "dumpees" are
English Angoras and were born either January or February of 2012. The only ones
who are older are Figaro who is about 4 years old and Bun 6 who was born in May
2011 (the mama of the others).

The pictures of the buns are posed in the Photo section.

If you know of anyone who is interested in adopting an English Angora, please
let me know. We can work on transport.

Otherwise, she's going to "cull" them. Ugh!!

Thank you.
