We will soon be closing registration for our two-week Permaculture Design 
Course from May 14. to May 28. 2001. on the Big Island of Hawaii at our 
25acre Permaculture Farm. 

A major element of the Design Course is the "mini-community" we create- this 
is the first most important "hands-on" aspect of the Design Course.

The Permaculture Design Course Curriculum Includes:

* Permaculture Philosophy & Ethics
* Permaculture Design Principles & Methodologies
* Patterns in Nature
* Reading the Landscape & Site Analysis
* Forest Management & Agro-forestry
* Ecosystem Restoration
* Water in the Landscape & Aquaculture
* Soil Building, Erosion Control & Earthworks
* Building Design & Energy Conservation
* Alternative Construction
* Orchard Design  & Management
* Integrated Animal Systems
* Home Gardens & Edible Landscaping
* Renewable Energy Resources
* Urban Permaculture & Village Design
* Alternative Economics & Local Self Reliance 
* Hawaiian Farming Traditions & Practices     

Fee: $900 includes vegetarian meals, camping or bunkhouse, tuition, handouts.
