Hey Permabuddies,

Want something cool to do in Pomona? Many of us studied under Bill Roley,
and the landscaping shows it! Friends, Cal Poly students, and alumni of
the Lyle Center for Regenerative Studies are buying homes near the
university, and running them as successful cooperatives. They are
organizing for nonprofit org status. The note below invites anyone nearby
to attend their second organizing meeting.

They are good people, and are finding ways to make the regenerative
lifestyle fit-in amidst LA's megalopolis. One profitable side-line
enterprise is installing solar electricity units. It's a nice
neighborhood, getting more wonderful all the time.

Please feel invited to attend!
Fred

Hello to all Sustainable Living Non-Profit participants:

I hope you had an excellent summer. I KNOW I did. My hike went smooth
and ended with a fantastic connection. I am hoping to get us back into the
swing of things to get the next step initiated for the non-profit. At least
a name for it!

Please brainstorm some name ideas for the organization for the
       next meeting.

The next meeting is,(as planned in July),

Among other things, we also have an exciting new change at the
Co-Op. We now have purchased a second Regen Co-Op house about 10 houses
down on Kingsley Street. So there will be more people involved, more land
area to work with, and potentially, more garden space for the project. This
may become a good baby step for the non-profit as well. Think about the
possibilities before we meet on Sunday as well!

I hope to see you all on next Sunday (the 8th)...

With great Thanksgiving, peace, and goodwill,

p.s. Please feel free to contact me for more information,
directions, ideas, or concerns...
