The fall 2002 Permaculture Design Course begins this Saturday Sept. 14th 
with "Introduction to Permaculture and Pattern Understanding" with Larry 
Santoyo.

This year we are pleased to be co-sponsored by the Terra Foundation and

The first part will cover: an in-depth introduction to Permaculture Design 
& Ethics of Earth Care with special presentations on  reading the patterns 
of the landscape. Understanding principles of sustainability and patterns 
of the natural world.

PART 2 -Sustainable Resource Management, Building the Home Ecosystem & More...
October         5 & 6
October         12 & 13

"FOOD, WATER, SHELTER... Earth-Friendly Techniques & Technologies"
The second part will focus on: techniques for designing & building a 
complete home ecosystem, restorative agriculture and natural building, as 
well as learning ancient technologies for earth stewardship and land 
restoration.

PART 3 -EcoVillage Design, Community Celebration & More...
October         26 & 27
November                2 & 3

"CREATING COMMUNITY...Self-Reliance and Eco-nomics"
The final sessions will feature: "community building & creating a sense of 
place," patterns of human dynamics, intentional communities & 
eco-villages.  We will also learn strategies for creating community-wide 
sustainability and methods for finding our own right-livelihoods.
