Have you ever asked yourself if it were possible
to live simply in complex times? Have you ever
considered what kind of difference you might be
able to make in this big world of ours? Dr. Carol
Zinn, SSJ, a Sister of St. Joseph from Chestnut
Hill, PA, and a well known and loved public
speaker on Global Spirituality, will again come
to the San Diego Area to offer a vital and
stimulating workshop. As a way of responding to
these questions she will help us explore the
"Earth Charter," a declaration of fundamental
principles for building a just, sustainable, and
peaceful global society in the 21st century.

Sr. Carol travels extensively to offer
educational workshops, seminars, and retreats to
various groups, helping to promote a deeper
understanding of the relationship between and
among international systems, global issues, and
local initiatives. Currently she serves as the
main representative for the Congregations of St.
Joseph, an NGO in General Consultative Status
with ECOSOC (Economic and Social Council) at the
United Nations. She brings with her a wealth of
knowledge, insight, and humor.

This event is endorsed by the San Diego Economic
Conversion Council and the San Diego Permaculture Center.
