Creating Happy and Productive

Home Environments with Permaculture Design

Facilitated by Special Guest, Robina McCurdy
Robina McCurdy is the originator of the internationally respected Schools 
Environmental Education & Development program (SEED) and New Zealand's 
permaculture vocational training course, Planet Organic. Robina has been 
engaged in organic growing, the development of environmental education for 
20 years, applying powerful community-building methods with households, 
neighbourhoods, schools, farms, and developing countries around the world.

A unique workshop for parents, children and child-like adults --

with lots of interactive fun and learning activities for all ages:
    * Design and Create Nibble Gardens and Play Spaces for Children
    * Learn the Art of Site Exploration - to know Soils, Plants and Wildlife
    * Make and Use a Nature Observation Calendar as a Family
    * Enjoy Stories and Songs about Nature and Gardening
    * Create Wildlife Habitat and Propagate Favorite Plants
    * Harvest Water in our Desert Landscape - Make Swales Using an 'A' 
frame Tool
    * Learn from what has been done in the grounds of Oak Grove School
    * See the Slideshow: Small Space: Big Harvest

Cost: Adults: Sliding scale $45 - $90 ($75 - $150 per couple)
