Oops, the date for the Eat In, Act Out Edible Bike tour is Sunday, August 5
(not Aug. 6 as stated in the earlier message).

That leaves you free to attend the Hiroshma Day Commemoration on Monday,
August 6, 6:30p-8:00p in front of the Midway Carrier Musuem on Harbor Drive
(one block south of Broadway). Come say No to Nuclear Weapons, No to War,
No to War Profiteers! Bannering at 6p, program at 6:30 with speakers from
the Network of Spiritual Progressives and Veterans for Peace and music by
Peggy Watson, then a candlelight procession on the Embarcadero. For more
info, call the Peace Resource Center of San Diego, 619-263-9301 or visit
their website www.prcsd.org.

>From "Permaculture: A Designers' Manual" by Bill Mollison:
"Most thinking people would agree that we have arrived at final and
irrevocable decisions that will abolish or sustain life on this earth. We
can either ignore the madness of uncontrolled industrial growth and defence
spending that is in small bites, or large catastrophes, eroding life forms
every day, or take the path to life and survival."
