3-Month Advanced Permaculture Course in Food and Water Systems

At Aprovecho in Oregon's Willamette Valley

August 31st – November 22nd

$2,500-$3,500 sliding scale (Student financing is available for this program)

Join us for 3 months of applied Permaculture on and around Aprovecho's 40 acre land trust.  This course is designed for anyone seeking to deepen their on-the-ground Permaculture skill-set at a level that empowers them to plan and install regenerative food and water systems on their land and within their communities.  The Permaculture Design Certification course is woven throughout this three month intensive.  This program is suitable for both someone new to Permaculture or someone with prior education and experience wanting to take the next step in their Permaculture studies.

Hands on projects will include construction of ponds and other earthworks, land survey and map making, indoor and outdoor aquaculture, food forestry, food preservation, root cellaring, greywater system construction, ferrocement tank construction, woodland and stream restoration, and rainwater harvesting.
