One inch of rain on 1,000 square feet of roof yields 600 gallon of water -
even with last year's skinny precipitation that's a lot of water harvesting
potential!

Daily Acts Workshop: Hands-on Rain Barrel Installation

Each year high-quality water is delivered to your home for free in the form
of rain. With a drought on catching that precious moisture when is falls
has never been more important.

Join Daily Acts and BlueBarrel Systems to construct a home-scale water
harvesting system with recycled food grade barrels from start to finish.
You'll learn the principles and practices of rainwater harvesting and gain
hands-on experience in outdoor plumbing assembly, ventilation and
filtration practices, downspout tie-in and overflow.

In this workshop at a Petaluma, CA residence, participants will work
together to build an 11-barrel (600 gallon!) BlueBarrel System. Each
participant will have a hand in on construction—All experience levels
welcome!
