self-fertile kiwi?

I purchased a "self pollinating: kiwi at /Matilija Gardens and have never 
got kiwis off it. There were kiwis on it when I bought it and they all fell 
off.  This may be due to the fact that I have i planted in full sun.  I plan 
to move it when it goes dormant.
  That's all I know.
