MESSAGE FROM BOB BANNER ON THE NOV/DEC HOPEDANCE TITLED WATER
Hello,
HopeDance wasn't planning on editing a special issue for Nov/Dec, since that
became new policy (a special issue every OTHER issue). BUT, be that as it may
and because certain topics keep coming up... MTBE, peeing outside, los osos
waste water treatment system vs arcata's marsh/waste system... I thought it'd
be best to jump in and get some answers and turn it into a special issue.
SO.
If you wish to help.... send all pertinent ideas, facts [as in there is only
1/2 of 1% of fresh water of the total amount of water on the planet],
opinions, policies, sacredness of water, cistern designs in green building,
radical changes, grey water systems, dams [as in the new activism to
deconstruct current dams], very cool political policies that are on the
table...
whatever...
please send them in... even those personal solution kinds of answers, as in
what are you personally doing to appreciate/conserve/use WATER.
All ideas welcomed... and please send this to other listservs that you might
be on.
Thanks,
Bob Banner
