FERTILITY OPPORTUNITY of this SEASON:
(School groups and individuals encouraged!)

This week we are preparing beds and seeding with ideal cover crop plants for
the home-scale garden, native forest restorations, and organic orchards.
Favas, peas, oats, clovers, alfalfa, vetch and more will be planted this
week, and you can learn how to do the whole thing including legume
inoculation. You'll have SKILLS for optimal winter crop fertility
specifically for home gardeners and orchardists enhancing soil, water, and
ecological health.

Coordinated by Akiva Werbalowsky, university ecodesign educator and
plantsman (seedmind at usa.net). Highlights include legumes and their sybiotic
fungi, growing trellis for supporting vines, mulch swales piled on contour,
and seed variety selection and breeding for local microclimate abundance.
